Q1. How do I enable JavaScript in my web browser?

Internet Explorer

  1. Select Tools | Internet Options. menu item from the main menu.

  2. Change to the Security tab at the top of the Internet Options window that pops up.

  3. From the list of zones at the top of the Security options select the Internet icon.

  4. Select the button near the bottom that reads Custom Level.

  5. In the new window that pops up, scroll down to the item that reads Active Scripting.

  6. Select the option marked Enable. Press OK button on each open window to finish.

Mozilla Firefox

  1. Select Tools | Options... from the main menu.

  2. Select Content button from the top row of options.

  3. Select "Enable JavaScript." (You do not need to enable Java, but it is OK if you do.)
  4. Note: You may wish to install the NoScript extension for Firefox to control which sites can run JavaScript.

Google Chrome

  1. On Windows/Linux: Select Options from the "Wrench" graphic icon menu on the upper/right side of the Google Chrome window.

  2. On Mac OS X: Select Preferences from the Chrome menu.

  3. Select the Under the Hood tab.

  4. Click the Content settings... button underneath the Privacy area.

  5. Select the JavaScript tab.

  6. Select "Allow all sites to run JavaScript (recommended)" option.

  7. Optionally: Click the Manage exceptions... button to control which sites can or cannot use JavaScript.

Safari

  1. Select Preferences from the Safari menu (on Mac OS) or the Edit menu (on Windows).

  2. Select Security tab at the top.

  3. Make sure "Enable JavaScript" is checked.

  1. Select Tools | Quick Preferences ... from the main menu.

  2. Make sure "Enable JavaScript" is checked.

Opera 6 and 7

  1. Select File | Preferences... from the main menu.

  2. Click Multimedia.

  3. Under the JavaScript heading, select "Enable JavaScript."

In order to verify this, please go to the following link http://www.javatester.org/javascript.html If the JavaScript is enabled you will see "JavaScript IS WORKING in your web browser and Your web browser supports JavaScript version 1.x " .
